book review 4

Warriors Long Shadows
By: Erin Hunter

Warriors Long Shadows is a book about a cat name Jaypaw, who is trying to get Shadow Clan to have faith in Star Clan.  They are cats that used to be warriors and they died. They are still of the five clans.  They can give you answers to questions if you ask them.  Another problem in the story is green cough.  One of the cats named Mille gets it about a month after she gives birth to three kittens. There names are Rosekit, Toadkit, and Bumblekit.  Her daughter Daisy had to take care of them along with her own kit Brierkit.  Later in the story Ashfur a cat from Thunder Clan died. Some of the warriors of Thunder  Clan found him floating in the river. He had a big gash on his throat, then the warriors that found him had a big fight about what happened to him. Ashfur and Squirretail used to get in fights a lot so they blamed  Squirretail when she came back all wet. In the end of the book they did find out that Squirretail murder Ashfur. Also in the end the found a cure  for green cough and Jaypaw got Shadow Clan to have faith in Star Clan.
One of the main themes in the story is faith. An example of how this theme is shown is when Jaypaw tries to get Shadow Clan to have faith in Star Clan. Another example is when Jaypaw faith in Star Clan it helps him gain Star Clans trust. Another way is after Shadow Clan showed faith Star Clan revealed how Ashfur died.
I would recommend this book to other 7th grade reader's because it's a very good mystery novel and know a lot of people that love a good mystery.

dialogue story

When I was young my mom used to tell me to treat people the way I want to be treated ad that is how this story will begin. I was in the locker in the middle of the school year. There was a new girl in school.  I walked up to her and said,
     "Hi! What's your name?"
Then she said "Lenora." I asked her if she wanted to eat lunch with me.  I asked her because she looked like she needed a friend.  I think everybody needs somebody to be friends with.  I have felt like I didn't have a friend before too, and I didn't want her to feel that way.  When we finally sat down for lunch, we talked about why she had moved here.
Lenora said, "Because my parents are working on the Blue Lake Dam Project."
     "Oh cool." I said.
When the bell rang, we lined up by the wall so we could go to our next class.  While we were going down the hall, I asked her
"Could I come to your house some time?"
"OK," said Lenora "How about this weekend?"
"Sounds good to me," I said.
"Want to spend the night?" asked Lenora.
"I'll need to ask my  mom," I said.
"OK, I hope she tells you you can." said Lenora
"We better get to class before we get a tardy." I said.
     "OK, bye." said Lenora.
After I made a friend, I felt really good about myself.  I felt like i had really completed my life.  That is the story of how I met my new best friend, Lenora.

love that dog book revuie

    by: Sharon Creech

Love That Dog, by Sharon Creech, is about a boy named Jack that did not like writing poetry because at the time he thought it was a girl thing. He eventually grew to be very good at it and like it. Jack started writing poetry because of his dog that got hit by a car and died. He started writing poems about his dog, Sky, so he could remember Sky through his poems.

I think the theme of the story is don't be afraid to do something you like because of what others will think. The reason I think that is because in the story he did not like when his teacher put his name on the poems he made because he did not want the other kids to know he made them.

I would recommend this book to anyone that likes poetry because it has
many poems.

This story is about a dog. She lives with her family in the country. She loves her family very much especially the son, his name is Joe. Joe's dad lost his job and they couldn't afford to keep Lassie because Joe's dad lost his job and they couldn't afford to keep Lassie. When Lassie got to her new family she wasn't very happy about that because all they did was chain her up behind a fence and just leave her there except when they trained her for a dog show or when they feed her. After a few weeks of living with her new family she finally broke the chain and she ran away off into the forest to go back to Joe and the rest of her real family that she loved. So, she did what any self respecting dog would do, ran away back to her real family. She walked to the forest starting her long journey home to her real family that loves her. Her long journey home began.
The theme of the story is if you get lost don't give up.  Here are three ways Lassie did not give up the first way is when Lassie hurt  her leg she nursed her self back to health. The second way is when a wolf pack was attacking her she attacked back. The last way is she was thinking about Joe the whole time and it was keeping her going. Lassie never gave up and finally succeeded in her journey to get home!
I would recommend this book to anyone that like dogs. This book is easy reading for most people. This story is interesting and tells about a cool dogs long journey.

Perfect Paragraph Practice: Israel vs. Iran War

It would be really bad if Israel attacked Iran. Both places might have really powerful weapons. Even if the battle was cut short it would be a disaster. Diplomacy would be better than war. I really wouldn't be pleased if Israel attacked Iran.
